This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.
Data we collect
Account data (email address) when you sign up, and the watchlist and portfolio holdings you choose to save. Nothing more — EconomAInd is free and takes no payments.
How we use it
To provide and sync your watchlist and portfolio, manage authentication, and operate the service. We do not sell your personal data.
Processors & third parties
We use Supabase (authentication & database). Market data and news come from Yahoo Finance, Finnhub, CoinGecko and CNN; browsing those features may send the relevant ticker to those providers. These parties have their own privacy policies.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (your login session) and a local preference for light/dark theme. We do not use advertising trackers.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your watchlist/holdings at any time, and request account deletion to remove your personal data.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including UK/EU GDPR), you may access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise these rights.
